The stories of sports clubs around the world are deeply intertwined with the personal journeys of players, supporters and local communities. Their histories reflect social triumphs and setbacks, economic challenges and political change. That is why exhibitions dedicated to sports clubs are always about much more than a collection of artefacts or trophies.
As the general contractor, we were responsible for the complete delivery of the museum. We designed it from the ground up, taking charge of every aspect of the project, including construction works, interior fit-out, building technologies and technical installations. Quite literally, we built the interior space that now houses the exhibition.
The next challenge was to bring the exhibition to life. This involved historical research and consultation, the development of the exhibition design and visitor journey, copywriting, the acquisition and selection of archival materials (including photographs and video footage), the design and implementation of all multimedia installations, and the production of exhibition content, including graphic design and printing, audio recordings, video productions and animations.
From the very beginning, the Śląsk Wrocław Museum was intended to tell the stories of the people connected to the club – its players, their families, supporters and everyone who contributed to its development. The project’s creators also wanted the exhibition to reflect the transformation of Wrocław and the surrounding region over the years.
For our team, which includes many devoted Śląsk Wrocław supporters as well as passionate advocates of Wrocław and the surrounding region, this project carried a strong personal significance. We approached it with high expectations and a clear vision of what the museum could become. Above all, however, our goal was to create a place that would appeal not only to football fans, but also to anyone interested in discovering the history of the city and its people.
To meet the client’s expectations, we decided to use state-of-the-art multimedia and audiovisual technologies. These solutions enabled us to present the most important moments in the club’s history in a dynamic and engaging way. The result is an exhibition designed to capture visitors’ attention and emotions from the very first step inside.
The Śląsk Wrocław Museum showcases the most important people, moments and milestones in the history of Śląsk Wrocław Football Club. The exhibition combines traditional memorabilia with multimedia content, including interviews with players and coaches, historic match footage, and presentations dedicated to stadiums and matchday experiences. Modern audiovisual technologies enhance the storytelling and create an engaging visitor experience.
The museum has become a must-see destination on Wrocław’s tourist map, attracting not only football enthusiasts but also visitors interested in discovering the history of the city. By combining heritage with modern technology, the exhibition brings the rich story of Śląsk Wrocław to life in an engaging and memorable way. The thoughtful connection between the club’s legacy and the history of Wrocław and its residents has transformed the museum into a place that truly lives and resonates with its visitors.
Together with the Sports Bar, fan zone and activity area, the Śląsk Wrocław Museum has become a destination where visitors can experience a full spectrum of emotions – from the excitement of sport and social interaction to cultural discovery. We are proud that, together with the investor and all project partners, we helped create a venue that can confidently be mentioned alongside renowned European attractions such as the Juventus Museum in Turin.
We entrusted A+V with a comprehensive delivery of the project, from multi-discipline coordination and construction works to implementation of advanced audiovisual systems and the exhibition design. The team took responsibility for the entire process and, with full professionalism, translated the conceptual assumptions into modern, coherent solutions that effectively brought the club’s and the city’s story to life. As a result, the museum gained a dynamic, emotional character and became a place that truly feels alive and engages visitors – says Anna Kacperska, Senior Marketing Manager, Tarczyński Arena Wrocław.
