The showroom was divided into three functional zones: a conference area, an individual workspace, and a client-facing zone. The conference room was designed according to the Microsoft Teams Rooms standard, creating a dedicated space for hybrid collaboration. It was equipped with a professional display, a table-mounted media connection panel, a meeting room booking panel, and an occupancy sensor.

Employees can reserve the room directly from their smartphone, computer, Outlook calendar, or the touchscreen booking panel installed outside the room. The booking panel also enables ad hoc reservations, making it easy to secure the space for spontaneous meetings. Meeting details are displayed automatically on the room booking panel, while its illuminated status indicator provides an instant overview of room availability: red indicates that the room is occupied, and green shows that it is available.

Another key feature of the showroom is its room automation. When the occupancy sensor detects people entering the room, the display turns on automatically. Once the room is empty, the system powers down without any user interaction. The same automation can be extended to lighting control in the future. By eliminating the need to touch switches or controls, the solution supports the touch-free workplace concept that became an important requirement in the post-pandemic office.

Joining a video meeting is just as simple. Users only need to press “Join Meeting” on the Microsoft Teams Rooms touch controller to connect instantly. The same touchscreen also provides intuitive control of the meeting itself, as well as room functions such as lighting, audio volume, and other integrated systems. We also focused on everyday usability. For example, the table-mounted media connection panel features an automatic HDMI cable retractor, which neatly stores the cable when it is not in use. Although simple, this solution keeps the workspace tidy, reduces cable wear, and ensures the meeting room is always ready for the next user.

In hybrid workplaces, it is increasingly common to provide fewer desks than employees. An effective desk booking system is therefore essential for managing workstations efficiently while supporting flexible working and maintaining appropriate spacing between employees.

Each desk is equipped with an LED status indicator that clearly displays its availability. A red light indicates that the desk is occupied, green shows that it is available for booking, and purple signals that the workstation requires cleaning or disinfection – a feature introduced to support post-pandemic workplace hygiene standards.

Employees can reserve a desk in two convenient ways. The first is through a mobile application, which provides an interactive office floor plan showing the location and real-time availability of every workstation. Alternatively, users can simply scan the QR code placed on the desk using the mobile app to reserve it instantly.

The client area was equipped with a Digital Signage solution designed to deliver dynamic and engaging content. The display presents centrally managed information, including live weather forecasts, exchange rates, tenant presentations, and an interactive office map, creating an informative and welcoming experience for visitors.

This area also features a professional display with Crestron AirMedia for wireless content sharing. The system can play scheduled presentation loops or allow visitors and staff to present content instantly from any computer connected to the showroom’s Wi-Fi network, making the space ideal for client meetings, demonstrations, and informal presentations.
