Can you successfully go through several stages of negotiations with the Client, competing with several peers from the sectors and at the same time maintain the appropriate level of quality and functionality of the configuration offered? Yes, you can. You just need to prove your competencies during negotiations with an open-minded and fact-focused Client, Veolia in this case.
As Warsaw’s leading district heating provider, Veolia Energia Warszawa recently modernised and expanded its headquarters. Energy efficiency is one of the company’s core values, making it essential that every technology selected for the new office met the highest standards of performance, reliability, and efficiency.
For a company operating critical production and distribution infrastructure, continuous investment is essential – not only in operational assets but also in the workplace itself. Veolia therefore chose to invest in modern technologies that provide employees and visitors with a comfortable, safe, and highly functional working environment.
The centrepiece of the office is a 68-seat conference room, designed to host larger events such as conferences, presentations, and training sessions. The headquarters also includes four medium-sized meeting rooms for 10-14 participants and several smaller rooms accommodating four to six people.
Our task was to deliver a reliable, high-performance audiovisual environment across the entire office. The implementation included seamless integration with the building’s fire alarm (FAS) and voice alarm (VAS) systems, ensuring compliance with safety requirements. Particular emphasis was placed on intuitive operation, day-to-day usability, and a scalable architecture capable of supporting future expansion.
Sony was selected because of its outstanding technical performance, advanced functionality, and exceptional build quality. These strengths – hallmarks of Sony solutions – ensure excellent image quality and deliver an outstanding user experience. Another important advantage was that implementing the Digital Signage system using Sony BRAVIA B2B professional displays did not require any additional hardware. The solution was deployed simply by activating the appropriate TEOS licence. We also connected the projectors to TEOS Players, enabling a fully integrated system – says Andrzej Dańczak, IT Manager at Veolia Energia Warszawa S.A.
Working closely with the client, interior designers, and other specialist contractors, we helped deliver a modern, functional, and thoughtfully designed office complex. The project included an extensive Digital Signage network and 27 conference rooms connected to a meeting room booking system integrated with the client’s corporate network. Every meeting space was designed with user comfort and ease of operation in mind. Cable management systems with automatic retractors keep connection cables neatly stored when not in use, improving both the aesthetics of the rooms and the long-term reliability of the installation.
Users can share content either through wired table connections or wirelessly over the corporate Wi-Fi network. The wireless collaboration solution allows up to four participants to present content simultaneously from their own devices, making it particularly useful during brainstorming sessions, workshops, and collaborative discussions. The audio systems were designed using a combination of wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted loudspeakers, providing clear and even sound coverage throughout each room. Every conference room is also equipped with a presentation switcher, enabling intuitive control of the AV system and simplifying day-to-day operation.
The AV systems implemented throughout our conference rooms and meeting spaces have fully met our requirements and expectations. They have been successfully integrated with the building’s fire alarm (FAS) and voice alarm (VAS) systems, becoming an integral part of the technical safety infrastructure at our new headquarters. The objectives we set for the project have been fully achieved – concludes Andrzej Dańczak, IT Manager at Veolia Energia Warszawa S.A.
