A comprehensive modernization of a lecture hall, enhancing its functionality and adapting it to modern videoconferencing standards

The Military University of Technology in Warsaw, a renowned civil-military university, is dedicated to advancing science, supporting the Polish Armed Forces and driving technological innovation. The Institute of Optoelectronics, one of the university’s key departments, approached A+V with the goal of transforming one of its lecture halls into a modern environment for lectures, seminars and hybrid project meetings.
The primary objective of the project was to enhance the functionality of the space and align it with modern videoconferencing standards. The upgraded lecture hall was designed to deliver high-quality audio and video experiences during Microsoft Teams meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration for both in-room and remote participants.
During the contractor selection process, the university evaluated several competing proposals. A+V distinguished itself through a comprehensive approach that included hands-on equipment testing and a detailed comparison of the proposed solutions, particularly in the areas of camera tracking performance and audio quality. This approach enabled the university to make a well-informed decision based on practical results, proven system capabilities and the expertise of the A+V team.
The implementation of the hybrid lecture hall at the Institute of Optoelectronics, Military University of Technology was a collaborative process, spanning from the initial technical consultations and equipment testing to the deployment and subsequent expansion of the system in response to real user needs. The project was completed in 2025.
At the client’s request, the A+V team placed a strong emphasis on aesthetics. Cabling was concealed within the room’s infrastructure, while all devices were carefully integrated into the interior architecture to maintain a clean and professional appearance.

The space delivered by A+V is now a model example of a modern hybrid lecture hall with dedicated Q&A functionality: flexible, scalable and intuitive to use. All project objectives were successfully achieved: the quality of both audio and video meets the high expectations of lecturers and presenters, while the carefully designed system architecture enables users to work seamlessly across a variety of scenarios, whether in person, remotely or in a hybrid format. The result is a future-ready environment that supports effective knowledge sharing, collaboration and engagement for all participants.
Working with A+V was more than just implementing technology, it was full support and a consulting process where I felt guided step by step, with great attention to detail. The team proactively suggested solutions, explained everything clearly, and cared about technical details. Every element, from installation aesthetics to system intuitiveness, was well thought out and matched our needs.
