Challenge

Educating future doctors

When it comes to saving human lives, there are no half measures. Modern equipment becomes essential. However, the key link is man, his knowledge and experience. This emphasises the importance of education of doctors – specialists, to whom we will be confident to entrust our health. One of the places that educates young doctors is Collegium Medicum – the Institute of Medicine of the University of Opole.

When tendering for contracts to instal audiovisual systems in the rooms of the Collegium Medicum building, we were aware that we must create not only a modern but also a reliable system that will become a learning tool for new generations of live-saving doctors, and a new standard of AV equipment for Polish universities

Solution

Comprehensive modernization
of teaching facilities

The modernization project carried out by A+V at the Collegium Medicum building spanned approximately 18 months. During this time, we equipped 14 lecture halls, training rooms and simulation spaces dedicated to medical education.

The project’s key objectives were to enable the transmission of uncompressed, high-quality audio and video signals over long distances and to create an AV environment that would be both highly automated and intuitive to operate. The result was a modern, reliable infrastructure designed to support effective teaching, collaboration and practical training for future healthcare professionals.

Implemented AV Solutions

High-resolution laser projector
Screen-adjacent speaker system
Maximum AV system automation

Effect

Delivering medical simulations
at the highest level

The Collegium Medicum of the University of Opole demonstrates that Polish medical universities are fully on par with their international counterparts in terms of infrastructure and technology. The new standard of audiovisual systems implemented by A+V enables not only engaging and interactive lectures but also advanced medical simulation training.

By leveraging professional-grade AV technologies, the university has gained a future-ready learning environment that supports innovative teaching methods and hands-on medical education. For years to come, successive generations of medical students will benefit from these systems as they develop the knowledge and practical skills required to become healthcare professionals.
