2025 Wrocław
Our current A+V office has been our home since 2018, which was a milestone year for us. That was the point when A+V started to grow rapidly, and we needed a space that could keep up with our pace, meet the evolving needs of our team, and reflect who we are as a company. We chose a modern office building, Sagittarius, located at 2 Sucha Street, right in the heart of Wrocław. The location was perfect, great transport links and easy access for both our team and our clients.
Now, six years later, the company has grown and our needs have changed. We knew it was time for the next step. What once was the perfect space, now started to feel limiting. We needed better use of space, more workstations, and updated technology that would better support our teams’ day-to-day work. So in 2024, we decided it was time to modernise our Wrocław office.
What were our priorities?
Our approach? As always, we started by listening to our team’s needs and then tailored solutions to match them. It was not just about upgrading our AV systems, it was about rethinking how our space can support our growth. This renovation gave us the opportunity to organise, optimise, and create a more flexible workplace that blends functionality, modern design, and comfort.
The modernization of the A+V office was a multi-layered process that involved different work and meeting zones. Some areas were refreshed, while others were completely redesigned to meet new functions and the growing needs of our team. We partnered with Wroclaw-based architectural CUDO studio, which developed a functional layout, a concept, and an executive design for us.
One of the most visible changes, aside from new technology and structural updates was the introduction of color throughout the space. The subdued, monochromatic interiors were replaced with pastel accents, bringing the office to life and giving it a friendly atmosphere.
1. TOWNHALL
From the beginning, the Townhall space in our office was meant to serve multiple purposes: to make a great first impression on clients, to host internal company meetings, and to serve as an event space.
We removed the former hot desk area, which had been used for quick ad hoc meetings and brainstorming sessions. Those needs are now met in other parts of the office that are better suited for the task.
In a prominent corner of the room, slightly raised and surrounded by guitars, we have added a drum kit, a nod to our passion for music and the after-hours A+V rock band.
What changed on the tech side?
2. COMBINED ROOM – LUX AND LUMEN
New features in the Lumen and Lux rooms:
Combined Lumen + Lux setup – more possibilities:
For larger events, AV systems in both rooms can be easily linked, thanks to a room division sensor. When the movable wall is opened, the system automatically treats the two areas as one, synchronizing lighting, presentation displays, and AV management.
With dedicated camera mounts and additional microphones, remote participants can see and hear everyone clearly in both rooms.
When the meeting ends and the mobile partition is closed, the system automatically resets to separate the rooms again. Intuitive wall keypads, presence sensors, and touch panels eliminate the need for manual setup every time.
3. OTHER MEETING ROOMS
In recent years, we realized we needed to redesign our internal meeting rooms and add new ones, not only to improve comfort but also to fully support the needs of our people in different departments.
Previously, we only had three rooms for team video conferences, and some spaces could not be reserved. Now we have seven, and each room is an individual resource that can be booked using the touch panel at the door or through the calendar system.
Created from the former copy room, this cozy space accommodates up to five people for small meetings, video calls, and teamwork. Equipped with a 180-degree conference camera, it is perfect for quick project check-ins and everyday collaboration.
The chillroom is a space for fun, relaxation, and informal meetings. After the update, it is a cozy room with a sofa and armchair, keeping its casual vibe. We kept the existing PlayStation and 65-inch monitor but added a video conferencing system so it can host hybrid meetings in a laid-back setting.
We also upgraded our existing spaces: the Stream room now features a modern Microsoft Teams Rooms system, and the Pixel room previously without AV tech, now includes an all-in-one monitor for easy video conferencing, webinars, and focus work.
Our old rooms were not perfect acoustically, which sometimes made conversations difficult. After the renovation, each space gained additional acoustic elements like angled walls, acoustic lamps, and sound-absorbing curtains, significantly improving speech intelligibility.
4. TEAM WORK ZONES
In the new office layout, we clearly separated the client-facing area from the team’s workspace. The front part of the office with the Townhall, Lux & Lumen rooms, and kitchenette, is dedicated to meetings and presentations. Meanwhile, the team zone has been better adapted to daily tasks, including a quiet zone for the AV Design team separated from the Townhall area.
A major improvement we introduced is a zoned audio and lighting control system in the work areas. Each department can now play its own music, adjust volume, and manage lighting levels enhancing comfort and creating a more pleasant atmosphere in the office.
The management system is integrated with the office alarm. When the front door opens, lights and music turn on automatically. When the alarm is set, everything shuts down.
In the new layout, we reconfigured the service department space to better support our engineers and AV testing. A dedicated TechLab was created with monitors, a stereo system, and ceiling speakers, so hardware tests can run smoothly without disturbing other teams.
After months of dedicated work, our Wrocław office has undergone a complete transformation. Within the same space, we have achieved more functions: increasing from 29 to 36 workstations and from 4 to 7 meeting rooms, creating an environment that adapts to our work style.
All this was accomplished with sustainability in mind repurposing old equipment and furniture by offering them to our staff, utilizing existing electronics from our inventory for some room setups, replacing bottled water with a filtered water dispenser in the revamped kitchen, and optimizing AV systems to automatically power on and off, conserving energy.
What have we achieved through this modernization?
The final result is an office that not only grows with us but also inspires, supports, and sets the standard for modern workspaces, just as any well-designed environment should.
