AV Systems Designer for Educational Projects

WE’RE HIRING!

Job description

We are looking for individuals to join our Projects Department who enjoy working in a structured and organized way, are detail-oriented and have an analytical mindset.

Key responsibilities

Analyzing client requirements as well as technical and tender documentation.
Developing concepts and designs for audiovisual (AV) systems.
Preparing project documentation, including functional diagrams, technical drawings and design descriptions.
Creating system configurations, cost estimates and supporting the preparation of commercial proposals.
Preparing tender documentation.
Providing technical support to the sales team during client meetings and solution presentations.
Coordinating multidisciplinary project solutions and collaborating with design offices and consultants.
Participating in project and coordination meetings.
Providing technical support during project implementation and commissioning.
Verifying that completed installations comply with project documentation.
Performing design supervision throughout project execution.

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the industry.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
Knowledge of videoconferencing systems, platforms and related technologies.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, including technical drawings, schematics, system layouts and AV installation documentation.
Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
Understanding of AV technologies and networking concepts.
Basic knowledge of automation, electroacoustics and electrical systems.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with clients and suppliers.
Willingness to travel for business purposes within Poland.
Ability to prepare proposals, cost calculations and project documentation.
Knowledge of audio and video device configuration.
Understanding of audio and video signal distribution systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation for multimedia devices.
Category B driving license.

Nice to have

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the education sector.
Certifications such as: Dante, Crestron, Extron, AMX, Q-SYS, Shure, Biamp.
Additional certifications are considered an advantage: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, HP/Poly, Yealink, Cisco, Logitech, and others.

Job description

A+V, a leader in the audiovisual systems industry, is looking for candidates for the position of Implementation and Service Engineer to join our Implementation and Service Department in our local offices in Wrocław and Warsaw.

Key responsibilities

Providing maintenance services and performing technical inspections of audiovisual systems.
Implementing modifications and upgrades to audiovisual systems.
Deploying audiovisual systems, including configuration, programming and commissioning.
Testing new audiovisual devices and technologies.
Preparing reports on completed service activities.
Communicating with clients to diagnose issues and arrange service visits, including scheduling and service conditions.

Requirements

Interest in the audiovisual systems industry (audio, video and control systems).
Knowledge of computer hardware and networking technologies.
English language skills at a minimum B1 level.
Basic knowledge of planning, time management and problem-solving.
Willingness to work and develop professionally.
Mobility and a Category B driving license.
SEP electrical qualification up to 1 kV (the certification can be renewed after joining the company).
Strong communication skills and responsiveness.
Ability to summarize completed activities, formulate clear conclusions and prepare concise documentation and notes.
