The vehicle interior was divided into two independent operational areas, allowing operators to work separately while providing a dedicated space for command staff meetings and decision-making. Additional flexibility is ensured by two independent power sources: an onboard fuel-powered generator and the option to connect the vehicle to an external power supply.

A large number of video input connections, available both inside and outside the vehicle, provide rapid access to data from multiple sources, an essential capability during emergency response operations. In addition, four cameras mounted on the vehicle’s exterior enable continuous monitoring of the surrounding area and the recording of video footage, which can later be used for analysis and post-incident review.

A high-quality Sony projector and display deliver clear, high-resolution visual content. To ensure maximum flexibility, the system includes HDMI connectivity points and the AirMedia wireless collaboration platform, allowing users to connect a wide range of devices, including mobile devices.

The audio system, based on Crestron technology, provides sound reinforcement for presentations and enables communication between the conference area and the operator workspace. This is achieved through control panels equipped with integrated intercom functionality, ensuring seamless communication between teams.

System control is managed via two touch panels featuring a custom-esigned, intuitive graphical user interface developed by our team. The AV infrastructure is also integrated with the mobile command center’s lighting system, providing centralized and efficient control of key operational functions.

In mobile installations, audiovisual equipment should be kept to a minimum while maintaining maximum system functionality. At the same time, all components must deliver reliable operation, low power consumption and a compact form factor. The core of the system is a Crestron matrix switcher with an integrated audio conferencing interface, which meets all of these requirements. This single device manages all audio, video and control signals throughout the solution, ensuring efficient operation, simplified system architecture and high reliability in mission-critical environments.

W trakcie pracy w terenie niezbędne jest stabilne połączenie z Internetem. Stworzenie lokalnej sieci w mobilnym centrum dowodzenia jest niebagatelnym wyzwaniem. Dlatego zastosowany został modem GSM, który można wyposażyć w 8 kart SIM różnych operatorów. Dodatkowo wóz wyposażony został w demontowalną antenę satelitarną. Dzięki temu rozwiązaniu dostęp do Internetu został zapewniony nawet w miejscach gdzie nie ma zasięgu sieci GSM.

Wszyscy podziwiamy strażaków za ich siłę i odwagę. Ale w obecnych czasach nawet najwięksi bohaterowie potrzebują wsparcia nowoczesnych technologii. Rozwój nauki i techniki pozwala na coraz szybsze rozwiązywanie problemów, dzięki czemu możliwe jest zminimalizowanie zagrożenia, ewentualnych zniszczeń czy liczby ofiar. Jednak gdy pod uwagę należy wziąć wiele nieprzewidywalnych czynników, podejmowanie właściwych decyzji może być niezwykle skomplikowane.

Stworzony przez nas system pozwala na jednoczesne analizowanie danych przez ekspertów z różnych dziedzin. Umożliwia on na wyświetlanie plików w dowolnym formacie z każdego urządzenia podłączonego przez gniazdo wideo, sieć LAN czy sieć bezprzewodową. Dodatkowo możliwe jest prezentowanie obrazu na jednym ekranie z 4 różnych źródeł jednocześnie, co ułatwia porównywanie wzorców, a co za tym idzie przewidywanie przyszłych wydarzeń i planowanie dalszych działań.

W wielu przypadkach szybkość działania jest równie ważna co posiadana wiedza. Gdy sytuacja zmienia się dynamicznie, decyzje muszą być podejmowane szybko. Mobilne centrum dowodzenia daje możliwość analizowania wszystkich czynników na miejscu zdarzenia, pozwalając na przeprowadzenie dodatkowych badań czy sprawdzenie okolicy, daje także możliwość przemieszczania się wraz z epicentrum strefy zagrożenia. System umożliwia ciągłą komunikację z najlepszymi ekspertami z całego świata, dzięki czemu w każdej chwili możliwe jest konsultowanie zdarzeń i zdobycie niezbędnych informacji. System kamer pozwala na nagranie całego zdarzenia do późniejszej analizy bądź celów treningowych.

External audio and video connectivity points, combined with an outdoor public address system, significantly extend the capabilities of the mobile Command and Communications Center. By simply connecting an external display or laptop, the vehicle can quickly become a fully operational command post for outdoor use. This allows a larger number of participants to join briefings and coordination meetings, including firefighters arriving directly from emergency operations in full protective gear.

It is worth noting that the external AV systems installed in the command vehicle are valuable not only during emergency response missions but also at public events, demonstrations and community outreach activities involving the fire service. In these situations, they support public education, awareness campaigns and, occasionally, entertainment for local communities.
