2025 Warsaw
The Jarosław Dąbrowski Military University of Technology in Warsaw is a respected institution with both civilian and military profiles. Its mission is to serve science, the Polish Armed Forces, and technological development. The Institute of Optoelectronics, part of this university, approached A+V with a request to transform one of its lecture halls into a modern space that supports hybrid teaching and meetings.
The main goal of the project was to increase the functionality of the room and adapt it to modern video conferencing standards, particularly for Microsoft Teams meetings. The solution had to provide high-quality sound and video for both in-person and remote participants.
Key requirements included:
During the selection process, the client compared various offers. A+V presented a comprehensive approach, including equipment testing and detailed comparisons of proposed solutions – especially in terms of camera tracking and audio quality. This allowed the university to make an informed decision, backed by practical results and the experience of the A+V team.
PHASE I: design and implementation
The development of the hybrid lecture room at the Institute of Optoelectronics was a collaborative process from initial technical consultations, through equipment testing, to implementation and later system expansion. The project was completed in 2025.
Implemented solutions:
At the client’s request, A+V paid special attention to aesthetics. Cables were hidden in the room’s construction, and devices were neatly integrated into the architecture of the space.
Two operating modes were defined:
PHASE II: functional expansion
A few months after implementation, based on lecturer feedback, the room was upgraded with a new feature: the ability to display two different types of content simultaneously – one on the main screen and another on the touch monitor. For example, the presenter can show slides on the main screen while taking notes separately on the monitor, without duplicating the image.
The new space delivered by A+V is now a model example of a modern hybrid lecture room with Q&A capabilities. It is flexible, scalable, and easy to use. All the project goals were achieved: the quality of sound and image meets high expectations, and the system’s design allows smooth use in both in-person and remote scenarios.
Dr. Eng. Wiesław Piotrowski, the project supervisor from the Institute of Optoelectronics, emphasized the importance of the process that led to success:
“Working with A+V was more than just implementing technology, it was full support and a consulting process where I felt guided step by step, with great attention to detail. The team proactively suggested solutions, explained everything clearly, and cared about technical details. Every element, from installation aesthetics to system intuitiveness, was well thought out and matched our needs. I felt that my time and expectations were truly respected, and the project was delivered exactly as planned. The final result proved that A+V is a partner you can trust.”
This project proves that technology becomes truly valuable only when it responds to real needs. The resulting lecture hall not only meets current expectations, it is also ready for the future.
