2026 Wrocław
For the Military University of Land Forces in Wrocław, modern audiovisual systems are a strategic investment in teaching quality. At the end of 2025, we delivered a comprehensive fit-out of two prestigious spaces: the Ryszard Kukliński Lecture Hall and the Marshal Józef Piłsudski Lecture Hall. The goal was to create a multi-purpose environment for lectures, presentations and hybrid conferences. Due to the nature of a military university, the project came with a set of strict requirements.
Key design assumptions:
The digital transformation covered two lecture halls: the Ryszard Kukliński Hall and the Marshal Józef Piłsudski Hall. The ecosystem we implemented combines strong technical capabilities with simple day-to-day operation, creating a universal environment for hybrid lectures, conferences and simulations. The foundation of the project is AV-over-IP. All devices run on a dedicated high-speed LAN, providing scalability and lossless real-time transmission.
Uncompromising image quality and visibility
We implemented 4K laser projection that remains clearly visible even in a bright room. To eliminate dead zones, we installed 55-inch side-wall screens that mirror the main image. For the presenter, we also added a confidence screen at the back of the hall, making it easier to control the presentation and stay connected with the audience.
A mobile interaction hub
We replaced a fixed whiteboard with a mobile 65-inch touch screen on an adjustable cart. This gives the presenter full freedom to write, draw and add annotations anywhere in the room. Importantly, all notes are automatically displayed on the main screen and the side screens, keeping the teaching process fully integrated.
Flexible connectivity – MTR and BYOD
We designed the video conferencing environment in a hybrid model that combines stability with openness. The solution, based on Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), lets users start a scheduled meeting with a single tap on the touch panel – without connecting personal equipment. In BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) mode, thanks to advanced connection points (media ports), the lecturer can connect a laptop using a single USB-C cable. The system automatically provides access to the cameras, ceiling microphone array and the hall’s audio system, enabling classes on any platform (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.).
PTZ cameras with automatic framing
The project includes PTZ cameras with automatic framing. Algorithms track the lecturer’s movement and follow smoothly as they move across the stage. An additional audience-facing camera allows remote participants to see the room’s reactions and the people asking questions, which creates a more natural meeting dynamic.
Audio system with ceiling microphone array
The halls use ceiling microphone arrays and a DSP processor with echo cancellation. Because continuous operation was a key requirement, we implemented control and audio redundancy, if a failure occurs, the backup system takes over.
Lecture hall control system
Audio and video are managed from a touch panel. Automation ensures that selecting a single scenario (e.g. Lecture) automatically powers up the projector, lowers the screen and applies the correct audio settings.
The modernisation of the lecture halls at the Military University of Land Forces proves that technology in education should work like a well-trained unit: reliable, precise and always ready without drawing unnecessary attention to itself. The client gained confidence that the technology will not only keep pace, but will become a strong ally in training future military leaders.
– The expansion of the Military University of Land Forces’ infrastructure in the lecture halls named after Col. Ryszard Kukliński and Marshal Józef Piłsudski has brought a new level of quality to hybrid classes and conferences. The use of ceiling microphone arrays ensured excellent intelligibility for every participant, as confirmed by the success of our most recent event, delivered flawlessly. We received a fully professional system that removes technical barriers and allows us to focus on the substance of our meetings. As a university, we particularly appreciate the long warranty period and the contractor’s fast service response – emphasises Lt Col Dr Artur Zielichowski, Head of the Leadership Theory Unit at the Military University of Land Forces in Wrocław.
