2024 Warszawa
Imagine a workplace where technology blends harmoniously with tradition, to create a space for inspiration and innovation. That is what the new Warsaw office of Lipton Teas and Infusions (a global tea market leader, managing brands such as Lipton, T2, Saga and Pukka) looks like.
How to turn more than 900 sqm of office space into an innovative and creative place for work and business meetings? Lipton brand faced the challenge of creating a space that reflects their vision for the future, focused on delivering exceptional experiences to both consumers and their employees, and decided to invite us to work with them.
A+V was tasked with designing and implementing a comprehensive audiovisual system integrated into the office design. The office operates in a hybrid mode and as an important meeting place, so ensuring comfortable communication of the teams was a priority.
Main objectives of the project:
See how we combined the world of tea tradition with modern AV solutions, creating a workplace where every sip of inspiration tastes special.
A+V transformed Lipton’s vision into a tangible reality by designing and implementing a comprehensive AV solution. Project included as many as 9 diverse spaces, from a Showroom to a Tasting Lab, which reflect the innovation and character of the Lipton brand.
Each of these meticulously designed zones combines state-of-the-art technology with a unique atmosphere, creating the ideal office environment for working, collaborating and tasting teas.
The Townhall in Lipton’s office is a central teamwork and meeting space that combines state-of-the-art AV solutions:
Townhall is a space for comfortable communication with different locations. It also accommodates seamless hybrid meetings, connecting on-site participants with those working remotely, making it a key element of Lipton’s modern, flexible office space.
The showroom is equipped with an advanced audio-visual system, enabling interactive experiences for visitors and presenting the brand’s rich history in an engaging way.
The eye-catcher here is the elegant Microsoft Teams Room system from Crestron, blending harmoniously with the room’s design. During video conferencing, an automatic framing system ensures that every participant is perfectly visible. The presenter can easily connect his own computer to the system with a single USB-C cable.
The clever connection system means that the room can turn into a space for yoga or creative brainstorming in no time. This multifunctionality is not just a matter of convenience – it is a strategic approach to the modern workplace, where technology supports people, not the other way around.
At the heart of the Lipton office is a divisible room, where the audio-visual system automatically recognizes the division into two hybrid spaces using a Crestron controller. The sound system is split into separate zones so two independent meetings can be held in individual rooms, or one larger meeting in a combined configuration.
Key elements of this space include:
The client’s request was that there is no permanently installed and visible audio-visual equipment in the Townhall space. At the same time, it was necessary to ensure that meetings could be held in a larger group utilising this divisible space.
We proposed a mobile solution in the form of a mobile trolley with electric height adjustment, which can be used in both spaces as required. The proven twisted-pair connection ensures safe mobility of the AV system – without a risk of damaging cables or sockets.
This solution allows the user to use the camera, speakers and microphone in the room by connecting a laptop, and thus hold hybrid meetings on any video conferencing platform.
The Lumens camera is a unique element of the project, which is used to conduct tests of teas, in several locations simultaneously. The camera was chosen to produce the best possible image with a rendering of natural colors, as the color, saturation and clarity of the tea are evaluated during these procedures.
This is an excellent example of how thoughtful solutions can support innovation and efficiency in a modern office environment in a specific industry.
The Tea Room for the company’s Board of Directors is the place where stability, sound and video quality are crucial for Lipton’s global video conferences, sales meetings and strategic decisions. This space combines aesthetic minimalism with superior functionality.
The Crestron AirMedia system enables seamless video presentation wired and wireless from any computer or mobile device.
Our project for the Lipton office also included designing an audio-visual system and equipping two rooms for offline business meetings. The project included two LG display screens (55” and 65”) and an HDMI connection for displaying presentations.
The informal meeting zone was equipped with an interactive Microsoft Surface Hub on a mobile trolley, facilitating the transfer of technology wherever creativity is born. This solution created a mobile conference room where meetings can be conducted in a hybrid format.
The Lipton Tasting Lab is where product reigns supreme and advanced, renowned experts (Tea Barista) work.
The task of the AV system in this room was to enable communication between testers from different parts of the world – so that, despite the distance separating them, they could freely share insights into the tea brewing process and the products being tested.
Our key determinant for the choice of technology in this space, the Lumens camera, was the perfect rendering of tea color needed to validate its quality or compare it with other products.
We equipped the Tasting Lab with a comprehensive system, allowing the quality of the brand’s teas to be fully experienced.
All of the rooms in the Lipton office are included in a room reservation system, based on Microsoft Teams Rooms, which allows employees to add a room to a meeting in their calendar, or ad-hoc on the wall panels. With red and green illumination on the panels, users can see from a distance whether a room is available or occupied.
The implementation of a state-of-the-art, specialized AV system at Lipton Teas and Infusions new office in Warsaw, has met the client’s expectations, providing new horizons for collaboration and interaction between employees in different locations. In this innovative office environment, technology has become a catalyst for creativity and it makes it easier for Lipton teams to pursue common ambitious goals.
An intelligent room reservation system and advanced Crestron panels have revolutionized space management. And adaptable meeting rooms reflect the innovative business approach, employee ambition and passion for tea that define the Lipton brand.
– A+V has provided AV solutions that not only match the aesthetics of the brand, but also realistically support our business processes. We appreciate the flexibility of the system, allowing us to easily adapt the rooms to different needs, and the intuitive operation. Our priority was for technology not to dominate our office, but to harmoniously complement our office environment, supporting the international communication of our teams. Particularly important for our office is the use of advanced technology in the tea laboratory, where precise evaluation of brew color is crucial for quality control. The professional approach and understanding of the industry resulted in an implementation that I am proud of – recalls Karolina Mikrut, Office Manager at LIPTON Teas and Infusions.
These advanced spaces not only support the daily work of Lipton teams, but also provide the perfect backdrop for product presentations, combining tea tradition with state-of-the-art AV technology.
In a business environment where every minute counts, we have created a space where every idea has a chance to flourish – just like a perfect cup of tea brewed in ideal conditions.
