A+V joins sustainability initiative „Odn@wiamy” to protect the environment and support local community

Here at A+V, we have implemented a number of sustainability procedures that reduce our carbon footprint, reduce waste and support our ESG priorities. To celebrate the World Environment Day (05.06) we are joining the 3rd edition of the „Odn@wiamy” project.

Thanks to this initiative, our used or unwanted equipment goes to organisations that support children and teenagers . Even damaged devices can get fixed to gain a new life for a good cause. Donated equipment is used in homework activities, as well as in coding and programming courses for the Young.

Not every computer can be used to provide equal opportunities and level of education to children. Appropriate steps in electric waste management are a part of the „Odn@wiamy” initiative. Damaged devices that are unsuitable to be used safely, are recycled, according to the EU sustainability standards. CEO of the A+V Jarosław Kołcun says: “Our participation in this project means, that we are going to educate the market, our clients and partners, and share knowledge and practical tips, on how to be more sustainable in the AV industry.”
